The Life I've Imagined:
I want to own a restaurant. A diner with green walls sporting local art with paper globes hanging over the bar. I want comfy chairs and magazines. I need a place that welcomes friends, but somewhere people are comfortable being alone with their thoughts. I'm the kind of person who needs this with my own life sometimes and I feel like people would appreciate that. I'm thinking of it less as a business venture, but more as an ongoing art project that warrants profit...hopefully.
I'm going to travel. Who said you have to wait until you're rich and old. I have too much fun being young and poor and conscious of the fact that tomorrow is never guaranteed to neglect this dream. I would regret it more than anything if I never had the chance to see the Northern lights, Australia, Chicago, California, or so many more. This is when I can find new and unique recipes to serve at my restaurant. Business planning.
If there's one thing I've learned about life, it's that things seem to always come together like I'd like them to, I just have to wait until life decides to take that course. Instead of forcing something to happen, I've taught myself to allow life to happen to me. I follow my gut. I know that when people talk about "following their dreams" (picture how the classic movie father that's strict on his comically inclined rock band member of a son would say it) no one ever really has that confidence in another person and it really affects the outcome.
I'm starting this blog to speak it out loud for myself. Speak it to anyone who comes across it. I'm asking for confidence. Skepticism, I'm sure will be the first impression for most, but for this I need that help. Thanks. ;)
