“We are spinning our own fates, good or evil, and never to be undone. Every smallest stroke of virtue or of vice leaves its never-so-little scar.”
-William James, American Philosopher/Psychologist
I want to be on a ferris wheel. But not any given ferris wheel. One on a pier overlooking the Pacific Ocean, at dusk with seagulls drifting overhead. Stars are out across the deep orange and pink sky. The white, bright lights of the ferris wheel blink around me. The breeze is cool, yet soothing over the earlier heat of the California sun.
I've always been one for spinning in circles. I don't think I could count how many times I remember spinning in my yard until I fell over and watched the sky circle my head for minutes. Put me in a spinny chair and see how long it takes for me to see how fast it'll turn. I don't know why. It's just fun.
